Jim began his video career at races at an early age. Born in 1978, his first race was when he was 4 years old at Wall Stadium. By the mid 1980's Jim's dad would drive him all over New Jersey to tracks like Flemington, East Windsor, and Wall Stadium.

In 1990, Jim was given a camcorder as a Christmas present, and began taking it to all the tracks he visited. While in high school, Jim studied television production and landed a job as the weekly videographer for TV34's Lets Go Racin' program, a 30 minute television show that covered the events at Wall Stadium. Jim also began videotaping and announcing at New Egypt Speedway in 1995 and 1996. Once New Egypt went dirt racing in 1998, Jim was the named "official track videographer," a position he still holds today.

Over the years, Jim has also worked at the Accord and Airborne Speedways in New York, and Thunder Road Speedbowl in Vermont. Jim plans to slim down his racing schedule in 2007, concentrating on New Egypt Speedway.

Jim has successfully finished his college career from Villanova University, where he achieved his degree in Broadcast Journalism. Starting April 16th, Jim can be seen daily reporting the news for TV-13 up in the Pocono Mountains, in addition to his video duties each weekend at New Egypt Speedway.

When not on the road shooting car racing, Jim can be found hanging out at the beach, singing karaoke, and chasing storms while listening to Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez on his XM satellite radio.

Jim currently resides in Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, in the beautiful Pocono Mountains.
